Dry Ingredients:
1 ¼ cup almond flour
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp baking soda
½ tbsp cinnamon
½ tbsp pumpkin spice
3-4 cloves crushed
Wet Ingredients:
1 cup grated carrots
½ cup sugar
½ cup melted butter
2 eggs
6 tbsp applesauce
Instructions:
First start out with mixing all the dry ingredients in a bowl, while you are combining the dry ingredients put the butter to melt.
Now add in your melted butter (make sure that you add the butter before the eggs otherwise it might curdle).
Once your butter is nicely combined into your dry ingredients, add the rest of the wet ingredients into the batter.
Before continuing, preheat your oven to 350 F.
When your batter is well combined with no lumps, get your cake pan, oil or line with parchment paper.
Pour the batter into the pan and place in the oven.
The cake should take around 20- 30 minutes to cook, but check on it often. Depending on your oven it might take more or less time to bake.
